About Us

Our History

The Kiwanis Club of La Puente is a service club with volunteer members who are dedicated to serviing and enriching the lives of children and families in our local community. Our club was chartered in 2015 by a small group of community leaders who saw a need to improve the lives of children and families in La Puente.

Service –  Our Club’s focus is to serve the community, particularly its youth. We host and join other organizations for service projects and fundraising activities to further provide funding for projects and services such as the scholarships we award to graduating seniors in La Puente.

Fundraising –  All funds raised with the generous help of the public (with the exception of any direct project expenses) are returned to the community through service projects, programs, and donations.

Service Leadership Programs – Service Leadership Programs encourage students to lead lives of service and significance. We sponsor Key Club students at La Puente High School and Builders Club students at Sierra Vista Middle School. Elementary school students may also join the Kiwanis family by joining K-Kids.
